Hope you enjoyed the warmth because it’s about to go down. The temperature, that is
A little bit of snow is on the way, too!

Kevin J. Beaty/DenveriteDenver will reach up to about 70 degrees today. The sun will be out, teasing the incoming spring.
Then, later tonight, things are going to take a turn.
The past two days of warm temps will feel like a distant memory by Thursday morning, when we will awaken to temperatures in the 30s and probably some snow.
The National Weather Service is forecasting about 1 to 2 inches of snow for metro Denver. Before then, it’s likely we’ll get some rain Wednesday afternoon.
The NWS also said that Wednesday’s warm temps will likely prevent snow from falling before midnight, but communities closer to Interstate 25 and east of it are more likely to see snow a bit earlier.
Denver should fare better than other parts of the state, like Wolf Creek Pass in Southern Colorado, where two feet of snow could fall. The moral of the story: Don’t pack your shovel away just yet. Winter isn’t done with us.
