Alameda, I-25/Broadway, Evans and Louisiana/Pearl Regional Transportation District (RTD) stations will be closed Tuesday through Thursday for maintenance on overhead light rail wires.

Here’s how the closures will affect service:

  • D Line trains will not run between 10th/Osage and Englewood Stations
  • E Line trains will not run between 10th/Osage and University of Denver stations
  • H Line trains will not run between University of Denver Station and downtown

As staffing shortages continue, RTD says it will not provide shuttle service to the closed stations. The transit agency suggests bus routes 0, 0L, 3, 9, 11, 12, 21, 51 and 52 as alternatives.

Staffing has been a major issue for RTD in recent years, leading to a reduction in service compared to before the pandemic.

“RTD recognizes the inconvenience of this maintenance work and appreciates customers’ patience and understanding,” RTD wrote in a statement Monday.
