It's the week of romance, roses and reservations across the city.

Here are some ways to help celebrate Valentine's Day this week, from tango, bachata, Afrobeats or swing dancing, to vampiric Valentine-themed pop-ups and free cocktails.

Valentine's Tango Date Night

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 14, 6:30-9 p.m.
Location: Denver Turnverein Dance Center, 1570 N. Clarkson St.

For $50 a couple and hosted by Analii and Tom Stermitz, enjoy a night of Argentine Tango paired with empanadas, chocolate, champagne and a rose.

Bachatea Social: Love Night Party

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 14, 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Location: 1518 S. Pearl St.

Hosted inside of Platt Park's Que Bueno Suerte restaurant, take part in a free Bachata dance class beginning at 8:30 p.m. followed by a dance party from 9:15 to 12:30 a.m. The cover fee for the dance party portion of the night is $10 at the door.

Screen Scream at Denver Film

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 14, 7 p.m.

Location: 2510 E. Colfax Ave.

Stop by Denver Film for a screening of "Picnic at Hanging Rock," the 1975 Australian film about a small group of students from an all-female college who vanish, along with a chaperone, on a St. Valentine's Day outing.

R&B Jam Fest Vol. 9

Love Bites: A Valentine's Haunted House 

Date: Feb. 16-18
