Donald Trump will address the Western Conservative Summit on July 1, the Denver Post reports.
This is a big deal. The Western Conservative Summit is the largest gathering of conservatives outside of Washington, D.C., and drew more than 4,000 people last year. Colorado is a battleground state that gave its Republican delegates to Ted Cruz in a process that Trump slammed.
It’s also Trump’s first visit to Colorado. Trump decided not to attend the state convention at the last minute.
The summit runs July 1 to July 3 at the Colorado Convention Center, just a few weeks before the Republican Convention July 18-21 in Cleveland.
