The victim in the shooting at the Alliance Center yesterday has died

The investigation into the shooting yesterday of a woman at 1536 Wynkoop Street is still underway this morning. Update: Denver police say the victim has died.

The Alliance Center, where the shooting happened, remained closed on Wednesday. The center is home to about 50 groups and businesses, with a heavy environmental focus.

Denver police said the victim was an executive director at one of the non-profits. The woman’s name has not yet been released.

The suspected gunman is dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot.
