George Athanasopoulos fundraiser lets you train with your AR-15
The campaign will provide ammunition, a catered lunch and a Delta Force veteran to give you personalized training.

George Athanasopoulos is running against Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter, who represents Colorado's 7th Congressional District northwest of Denver.
Retired Army Major George Athanasopoulos wants to replace five-term Rep. Ed Perlmutter, who represents Colorado’s 7th Congressional District northwest of Denver.
That will be an uphill battle. Perlmutter has defeated a Republican challenger every year since he was first elected in the Democratic wave of 2006.
And of course, AthanasopoulosĀ needs money to take this on.
So he’s doing what any enterprising candidate would do: Offering advanced tactical AR-15 training.
You have to bring your own weapon, but the campaign will provide ammunition, a catered lunch and a Delta Force veteran to give you personalized training for a $700 donation.
Details are here.
Perlmutter has a slightly different take on guns. He was one of the Democrats who took over the floor of the House last month to protest the lack of a vote on gun control legislation.
