Denver's streak of hot, dry weather continues today with a high of 92 degrees, the National Weather Service forecasts. Those same conditions are keeping a fire hazard present in the foothills and mountains.
A few thunderstorms are possible tonight and this afternoon. There's a slight chance that they'll start over the Palmer Divide, south of Denver, but that won't necessarily provide any relief to wildfire fighting efforts to the west. Thursday, Friday and Saturday all have a greater chance of storms.
