False alarm! Tim Tebow isn’t speaking at the Republican National Convention
Per the Facebook page of the former Broncos quarterback, Tim Tebow is not speaking at the Republican National Convention.
“I just got back from the Philippines and I wake up this morning to find out I’m speaking at the Republican National Convention,” Tebow said in a video on his page. “It’s amazing how fast rumors fly, and that’s exactly what it is: a rumor.”
A rumor reported by the New York Times based on a leaked roster confirmed by two sources who may have been mistaken or who may have been having some fun.
Tebow said he wants to make a difference in the biggest way possible. Maybe one day that will be in politics, but not yet.
But Colorado still has Republican Senate candidate Darryl Glenn, who is a confirmed speaker.
Glenn wowed with a speech at the state convention, and maybe he’ll wow again on the national stage.
