A pedestrian and a motorcyclist were killed in seperate crashes in Denver last night

Details are still coming in, but the Denver Police Department reports that an adult woman was fatally struck by an automobile at 23rd Avenue and Quebec Street.

The woman later was pronounced dead, police announced this morning, and an investigation is ongoing. The crash happened near Fred Thomas Park; police first issued a tweet about the collision at about 10 p.m. Monday night.

Separately, police reported a fatal motorcycle crash Monday night on Interstate 270 westbound near Quebec Street.
