Empower Retirement announcedĀ a new app for iPhones and Apple watches Wednesday that lets users count down the days until they can stop working forever.
The Colorado-based retirement planning company’s 8 million members can start planning their days by the beach immediately. The company released the app Friday in the Apple app store.
āFor participants, this is a game changer in how they experience their retirement plan,ā Empower Retirement president Edmund F. Murphy said in a statement.
āThese users will literally have information thatās even closer than their fingertips. Itās a remarkable development for participants who are actively thinking about their financial future.ā
