Update: Delays are still happening on Thursday, July 21.

Early Wednesday morning, RTD reported that a gas leak near the Convention Center was causing delays for the H, F & D lines.

Currently, RTD estimates delays of 20 to 30 minutes for people heading to or from 30th and Downing.

Xcel Energy is repairing the leak that created delays, but hasn't identified a cause yet, says Spokesperson Michelle Aguayo. Meanwhile, light rail service isn't expected to return to normal until 4 a.m. Thursday morning.

Eventually, the natural gas will be rerouted in that area.
