A man was shot in the leg early this morning in Five Points, and police are searching for a suspect in a black, four-door sedan.

Witnesses heard 20-30 shots fired around 4 a.m. near 28th and Welton streets, Denver 7Ā reports. The Denver Police Department’s ShotSpotter device alerted them to the incident.
The victim was using Uber when the shooting happened. The driver and another passenger were not injured. Reporter Daryl Orr shared photos of the bullet holes in the car.
Denver police are also investigating a deathĀ in northeast Denver, near the junction ofĀ interstates 70 and 225.
Update:Ā Police are now investigating that Montbello case as a homicide, with two adult victims and no suspect.
