Pokemon Go Denver adventure videos are weirdly entertaining
Before we get any further, I should warn you that there are swears, millennials and a dude wearing part of a Santa Claus costume below.

Pokemon Go video screengrab from The Creatures.
I do not play Pokemon Go, and before we get any further, I should warn you that there are swears, millennials and a dude wearing part of a Santa Claus costume in several of the videos in this post.Ā
I don’t play it, but I get it. I gave up console video games before my daughter was born in our great screen purge, but I still will play the occasional game on my phone, or weird art games on my computer. So I can deal with the excitement right nowĀ — thought it is a liiiiittle over-the-top at times.
Anyway, the video below isĀ the first one someone shared with us of people playing here. The group, calledĀ The Creatures, make gamer-orientedĀ videosĀ regularlyĀ and are based here in the Denver area. Obviously videos of people playing video games have been enormously popular — but it’s much cooler to see someone play a video game outside in places you know.
Some highlights
āBy the way⦠those two guys walked up to us⦠and they tried to recruit us into the military⦠and they said we put a lure down to lure people in, and then they talk to them.”
Not totally surprising! Hillary Clinton’s campaign has used Pokemon Go, tooĀ — to register voters.
Also, one of the guys getsĀ a compliment on his cropped red pants and is asked where he got them. He admits that they are the bottom half of a Santa costume.
There are several more episodes of these guys strolling around the metro area playing.
At SouthGlenn, a fan recognizes them!
Also they go see puppies, and consider catching real butterflies as a sincere educational exercise.
Here they are going to downtown Littleton
They ride the light rail and share tips — then encounter several groups of other players, with whom they decide not to interact… for the most part.
