This week Hillary Clinton secured the Democratic presidential nomination. Next week, the former secretary of state is reportedly looking to secure some cold, hard Colorado cash.
Clinton will likely be in the Aspen area Tuesday for a fundraiser, The Aspen Times reports. The next day, the presidential nominee will be in Denver for a campaign stop, according to Channel7.
The Denver television station got its info about the stop from "a source with knowledge of the campaign." That knowledgeable source didn't say where in the city Clinton might be stopping Wednesday.
On Monday, Gov. John Hickenlooper and area Musk Kimball Musk will be acting as proxies for Clinton during a fundraiser in Boulder.
The visits and fundraisers come after political experts declared Colorado safely blue heading into November and reports that Clinton would save her money and not buy air time in Colorado.
Hillary Clinton was last in Denver on June 28. But she was only a Democratic candidate back then. Now, she's the first female presidential nominee of a major political party.
