Denver weather Aug. 2: mostly sunny, slight chance of rain

To carry an umbrella or not to carry an umbrella — that is the question.

Today, there’s a 20 percent chance of rain after 2 p.m. and a forecasted high near 93 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Light and variable 8 to 13 mph winds could creep up in the afternoon.

The chance for rain continues at 20 percent before midnight. The evening is expected to be partly cloudy with a low near 63 degrees.
