Starting at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, you can enjoy a beer in Denver's Skyline Park.

The Downtown Denver Partnership and Downtown Denver Business Improvement District announced today that the "pop-up beer garden" will run through Sept. 15 at the park on Arapahoe Street between 16th and 17th streets.

The approximately 40,000-square-foot space will have 12 Colorado craft beers on tap, along with cocktails and wine, with open-air and tented seating for more than 350 people. There will be food, too, including brats, burgers, salads, German pretzels with dipping sauces and kid-friendly fare. It will all be sold through a ticket system.

And you won't have to just sit there staring at your friends and family. Games on site will include ping pong, a nine-hole mini-golf course and cornhole. And on Fridays and Saturdays, you can sit there and stare at a band playing music.

The Skyline Beer Garden will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and all ages are welcome.

Now be a good Denverite and go play in the sun.
