Aug. 24 forecast: Looking rainy, and a high of 73

Why, hello everybody. The showers could start early today, with a possibility of thunderstorms after noon, according to the National Weather Service. The high is only 73 degrees, NWS predicts. It will be cold enough for a “dusting of snow” above 12,000 feet.

Later in the week, we’ve got chances of precipitation through Friday, but maybe we’ll get a break on Saturday, NWS forecasts. Temperatures will stick around the 70s and low 80s.

Sunrise is drifting earlier. It’ll be at 7:42 p.m. today.
