The Denver Police Department on Thursday morning investigated a suspicious item on the west side of Denver International Airport's main terminal.
As of 9:15 a.m., police had determined the item was no threat, and passengers were allowed back to the ticket counter area that had been closed.
The package was discovered inside the airport at 7:30 a.m., Denver Post reports. Still no word on what it was, but it appears that the situation has been resolved.
The airport announced at 9:20 a.m. that passenger drop-off on the westside would be reopened shortly.
We'll keep this post updated as the situation develops.
