Alaska voters decided in November 2014 to legalize recreational marijuana. They're still waiting on their first recreational dispensary to open.

After reports of further delays, state officials are assuring people that the first shops could open this fall, perhaps before Nov. 1, according to Marijuana Business Daily.

When that happens, we can only assume that Stoner Hill and all of the social issues people blame on legal marijuana will disappear from Denver and move to Anchorage. (Not really.)
