The Yawpers -- "the world's prettiest rock and roll band" -- are headlining the Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave. tonight, with support from the 4onthefloor and Grant Sabin.

Tickets are $18, admission is 16+, doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.

Over at Bar Standard, 1037 Broadway, Lip Gloss is offering a chance to dance out some calories and/or feelings pre-Thanksgiving.

You know the drill: indie, brit-pop, soul and more until the bar shuts down.

The party starts at 9 p.m. It's free, but admission is 21+.

Stoney's Bar and Grill, 1111 Lincoln St., is also hosting a Thanksgiving eve party, complete with "turkey bingo," bowling for turkeys and shots, DJ Jesse James, drink specials and games.

It starts at 7 p.m. and lasts until close.

And if you just can't wait to fill your stomach until you want to sleep or die, head over to Black Shirt Brewing Co., 3719 Walnut St.

The brewery is hosting a pie and beer pairing night with The Long I Pie Shop. On the menu:

  • Redhead’s Revenge: Sweet potato ginger pie with Colorado Red Ale.
  • Grandma’s Pie: Spiced apple cranberry pie with Semitone Saison.
  • Honey Flower: Salted honey lavender pie with Pistachio & Lavender Red Rye.
  • Drunken Nut: Bourbon chocolate pecan pie with Chai Red Porter.

The tasting lasts from 6 to 9 p.m. and costs $20. No advance tickets necessary.
