This site at the intersection of U.S. 160 and U.S. 550 in Durango used to be home to the Arc of History, a piece of public art that was removed after vandals damaged it and repairs were deemed too costly.

The Durango Herald gave this photo the title “Mysterious Newcomer.”

Welcome, friend.
