More than 214,400 people are employed in metro Denver's healthcare and wellness industry, according to a new report from the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.

That makes the industry of aides, nurses, doctors and surgeons the largest sector in the nine-county Metro Denver and Northern Colorado region, the report released Thursday shows. Below are the other eight industries driving growth in the region.
