Jasmine Faith Delores Johnson, 26, was contacted by police on I-70 just east of the exit for Agate after reports that she threatened to kill police officers.

Shots were fired in the confrontation Friday night about an hour’s drive east of Denver, according to a release from District Attorney George Brauchler’s office. Neither Johnson nor the officers were hit.

Johnson is being held without bond on a previous warrant out of Broomfield, and additional charges are expected after last night’s incident is investigated.
