Denver's looking at a high of 75 degrees today and mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. Combined with low humidities and breezy conditions, this puts parts of the metro in fire danger.
The high mountains should get a bit of snow tonight, followed by more precipitation on Thursday and Friday, when a slow-moving storm could dump moderate and heavy snow on the Front Range mountains and a mix of rain and snow on the plains, NWS forecasts.
The storm is expected to deliver snow above 6,500 feet and the rain-snow mix below that.
