Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler’s Pepsi commercial take is health-related

Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler, who keeps to a vegan diet, chimed in on the commercial and also brought up another point about Pepsi: It’s terrible for your body.

On Tuesday, Pepsi released a fairly ridiculous commercial that featured Kendall Jenner removing a blonde wig, wiping off lipstick and drinking Pepsi that was vaguely done in the name of equality, unity and ending police’s mistreatment of people of color.

The commercial was … not received well.

Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler, who keeps to a vegan diet, chimed in on the commercial and also brought up another point about Pepsi: It’s terrible for your body.

A 12 oz. Pepsi contains 41 grams of sugar. For a little reference, this is what 42 grams of sugar looks like.

I appreciate Chandler keeping it real. As Twitter user @The_Drip pointed out, Chandler plays half his games at the Pepsi Center, and he still didn’t hesitate to criticize the brand.
