Man killed in stabbing on Sherman Street in Capitol Hill; suspect detained

A man was killed in a stabbing on the 1600 block of Sherman Street in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood Thursday evening.

Police announced they were investigating the incident and that a male suspect had been detained as of about 5:30 p.m. The department confirmed an hour later that the victim had been pronounced dead.

No further information was immediately available.
