Because we don’t always have the time, energy or supplies for a fancy summer cocktail, we need a drink to keep things simple but interesting.

Because we don’t always have the time, energy or supplies for a fancy summer cocktail, we need a drink to keep things simple but interesting.

The Troublesome Gulch Gin — named for the road in Kittredge on which I was introduced to this drink — does just that.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 oz. gin
  • grapefruit (juice it yourself or buy juice)
  • herbal bitters

That’s it. Enjoy.
