NAVA Real Estate Development broke ground on West Colfax's latest condominium project this week, the new 206-unit Lakehouse.
The 12-story condo and rowhome project near West 17th Avenue and Raleigh Street is expected to open in 2019. Kentwood City Properties is looking for buyers of the units now.
Lakehouse is located in Sloans, the former St. Anthony Hospital site. Condominiums are expected to range in size from 675 square feet to 2,285 square feet, with one-, two- and three-bedroom options.
The row homes have two bedrooms, ranging in size from 1,300 square feet to 2,473 square feet, Nava said in a release.
“We felt that Lakehouse was a unique opportunity in Colorado to craft midrise living on a waterfront setting," said NAVA CEO Trevor Hines in a statement.
"With the dry climate here, people are strongly attracted to water because there’s so little around. We felt it was a chance to build something special and iconic, and we feel we have a product that will be very appealing to many buyers,” Hines said.
In addition to Sloan's Lake, residents will have an open sky pool, hot tub and mist lounge overlooking the lake There's also expected to be a 7,000 square-foot wellness center, expansive treetop sundeck, organic urban farm and produce program, juice bar and fitness studio.
