If love of country wasn’t enough to make beer drinkers want to crack open a Budweiser, state pride could be.

Budweiser is slapping “Colorado” and the names of 10 other states where the Anheuser-Busch brand has facilities on its bottles from July through September. The bottles with state names and state mottos should start hitting shelves Thursday, according to a news release.

Budweiser buffs can visit the Fort Collins brewery July 22 for a celebration of the new campaign. Those famous Clydesdales are expected to be on scene for pictures. No word about the Dalmatianfrogs or cute dog that doesn’t want you to drink and drive.

Last year, Budweiser replaced its brand name with “America” on its bottles. The brewer reintroduced the patriotic packaging again this year, making some people scoff because its parent company, Anheuser-Busch, is headquartered out of Belgium. Still, AB employs more than a thousand people in Colorado including at its brewery in Fort Collins.

In addition to the Centennial State, Budweiser is brewed in California, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas and Virginia. All of those states are getting their names on bottles too, according to the release.
