Good morning. The high in Denver today is 87 degrees with light wind. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

A very similar pattern should play out through Thursday, with temperatures fluctuating around the low and mid 80s, NWS forecasts. As usual, hail and damaging winds are a possibility. NWS also warns that a “brief tornado or two” are possible this week on the northeastern plains.
