Before The Yawpers take off on tour, they’re going to play a free show.

Actually, it’ll be more like an open house with some music. Mostly, it’ll be drinking. But anyway if you like drinking and some free music from local musicians, drop in at 3 Kings Tavern, 60 S. Broadway, after 7 p.m. They’ll also be raffling off tickets and merch.

Over at Globe Hall, 4483 Logan St., they’re hosting local artist and producer Rumin8 with support from Claygo, Nomad Neighbors and Jubi Renee.

That’s a lot for $10. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Time to get schwifty in here (Chain Reaction Brewing Company, 902 S. Lipan St.).

“Rick and Morty” trivia is happening from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. The max team size is six people, so organize accordingly. And don’t take off your pants.

Tonight, the pairings of choice at Stem Ciders, 2811 Walnut St., are meats on sticks. If you want cider and meats on sticks, you should go there sometime from 6 to 9 p.m.

Here’s the menu:

  • BLT — a cider-braised bacon, heirloom tomato, grain mustard and romaine — paired with real dry apple cider.
  • Kushiyaki — an organic goat meatball, Yuzu Kosho and scallion — paired with off-dry apple cider.
  • Scallop, peach gastrique and furikake paired with hopped apple cider.
  • 7X beef, oyster mushroom, black garlic and shallot paired with Le Chene.

It costs $30.
