Good morning. The high temperature today in Denver is 87 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Areas of smoke from fires burning in northwestern Colorado and the Pacific Northwest will continue to linger.

Cloud cover will build throughout the day and there is a slight chance of thunderstorms after 2 p.m., NWS forecasts. Saturday will be mostly sunny and 90 degrees, while Sunday will bring a slight chance of storms, according to NWS.
