The high in Denver today is 81 degrees, and that's about all you need to know about Wednesday's weather. Tonight, high clouds and winds will start to develop.

On Thursday, however, the high plummets to 48 degrees. There will be a chance of rain before 2 p.m., with snow possibly mixing in after 2 p.m. and potentially all snow after 2 p.m.

Accumulations in Denver are expected to be less than an inch through Thursday night. The mountains could see up to 4 inches.

Friday will remain chilly, with a high around 39, before temperatures begin to warm over the weekend. Another storm system could bring more cold and snow on Monday and Tuesday.
