Hines, a global real estate investment company based in Houston, introduced Denver to its new fifth-tallest building on Wednesday evening. The massive, modern 40-story office tower at 1144 Fifteenth Street was designed by architect Jon Pickard.

The building's high-end offices are already 85 percent pre-leased according to CBRE and have attracted some of the highest-profile tenants in the city, including Unicomm, Optiv, Gates, Chipotle, Greenberg Traurig, Petrie Partners, and Johnson Financial Group.

Hines hopes tenants will enjoy the cultural amenities of LoDo such as the wealth of nearby restaurants and easy access to the Denver Performance Arts Complex. While the 800-car parking garage will make life easier for those looking to drive to the offices, developers are also hoping the proximity to public transit will allow for commuters to avoid having driving being the only option for transportation.

Amenities include an in-house 5,000 square foot gym, a living-room style collaboration area, a bike repair shop, a bottom floor with ample commercial retail space and 10-foot glass walls that let in a lot of natural light.

Although all of the significant infrastructure work has been completed, tenants will not be able to move into their offices until mid-April.

Here's what we saw when we visited the building for its grand opening:
