As Broadway Market moves closer to its end-of-year opening target in the old Tony's Market space at 950 Broadway, we're starting to get word on who will take up residence there.

First one on the list: Pizzeria Coperta, a Roman pizza and street food spot from Denver chef Paul C. Reilly and partners Aileen V. Reilly and JP Taylor Jr.

If any of that sounds familiar, it's because that team already runs Beast & Bottle and Coperta and Coperta in Uptown.

“I love pizza,” John C. Reilly said in a press release. “It’s basically my favorite food, and I’ve always had a passion for making it at home. We don’t serve pizza at Coperta, so to really capture the spirit of Roman cuisine, we needed a pizza outlet. This just adds another element to our vision.”

Pizzeria Coperta will feature pizza al taglio (Rome’s pizza by the slice) and pizza romana (a thin-crust pizza), plus street food options like suppli al telefono, a rice croquette filled with mozzarella and fried vegetables. It'll have a counter inside the market as well as a walk-up window on the street.

Broadway Market will have a total of eight food businesses when it opens. The date hasn't been announced yet, but they're expecting to do so next month.

Correction: An earlier version of this story misidentified Paul C. Reilly because pop culture broke my brain.
