Zombies will reroute the 16th Street MallRide this weekend
It’ll run mostly on 15th and 17th streets, away from the Organ Trail.

Photoshop butchery by Kevin J. Beaty/Denverite.
RTD will temporarily detour the free 16th Street Mall shuttle Friday and Saturday to make way for the annual Denver Zombie Crawl, the Regional Transportation District said Thursday.
The conflict here is that the transit mall is on the “Organ Trail,” the path that presumably leads the walking dead to the brains they eat (and the alcohol they drink).
From 4:40 a.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday, the mall will close to all motor vehicle traffic between Market Street and Broadway. The shuttle will run on 16th between Market and Chestnut streets but will cut over to 15th Street for Union Station-bound buses. Civic Center Station-bound buses will detour to 17th Street.
RTD will use the larger Free MetroRide buses will replace the shuttles during the closure. Passengers can catch the bus at every corner, except for stops closed for construction.
Good luck and godspeed.
