Happy Friday! Whether or not you need to forget about the week or welcome in the weekend, it's time to take a breath and celebrate.

It's the right weekend to explore Denver's art scene. Spend a night at the art museum on Friday, with Untitled Creative Fusion at the Denver Art Museum (DAM) or Best Phriends Night Out at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA). The DAM offers interactive activities, special installations, music and eats throughout the night. The MCA is lower-key, with live music and complimentary cider tasting (both kinds!). Saturday, check out Free Admission Day at the DAM and Penny Admission Day at the MCA.

For anyone looking to skip out on Superbowl Sunday watch parties, scoop up rare tickets to the Improvised Shakespeare Company at the Garner Galleria Theatre. Or head to the Denver Beer Co. for pairings of your favorite beers with cookies.

No matter what Friday means to you, get at it and go get the weekend!
