Denver’s locking up public tennis courts and making basketball hoops unusable today

Everything's moving fast right now, including the execution of Mayor Michael Hancock's executive order, signed yesterday, which closes tennis courts, basketball courts and playgrounds.

Crews from Denver Parks and Recreation put up orange netting at the City Park tennis courts Tuesday morning, as well as signs turning people away.

Basketball courts got similar treatment:

The stay-at-home order issued Monday keeps parks open for other more solo forms of exercise.

Great for joggers, bad for ballers.
