At least one person, an adult male, was reportedly shot Monday afternoon around Civic Center Park.
The person was transported to the hospital, and one suspect, also an adult male, is in custody. The victim died at the hospital, according to the Denver Police Department.
Lawmakers at the State Capitol were told to shelter in place and avoid the windows. The shelter in place was lifted around 1:15 p.m.
