Colorado Convention Center road closures start this week for MLB All-Star Game events
But hey! At least it’s not a marathon!

If you thought baseball was long before, wait’ll you see how long they’re closing Welton and 14th around the MLB All-Star Game.
I kid, and maybe I’ve also already secured tickets (they’re free) to Play Ball Park, one of the more accessible fan experience situations being set up around the game, but seriously: From this Wednesday through July 16, you can’t move a car or bike on 14th or Welton Street right outside the Colorado Convention Center.
Here’s the map the Denver Office of Transportation and Infrastructure sent us:

Road closures at the Colorado Convention Center.
(DOTI)“Full road closures are shown in red on the map below as well three adjacent stretches in yellow that will be open for local access only,” according to the press release.
While you can’t drive there during that time, you could take batting practice, get some autographs or check out the World Series Trophy.
