Denver weather to be gross, roads expected to be absolute garbage Tuesday morning, unless we jinx it with this story

Yessir, looks like a real mess out there tomorrow, according to the forecast, which will almost certainly come true.

TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE: It is indeed snowing a bit.

Tuesday morning and evening might be a bad time on the roads of Denver.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook starting late Monday night and into Tuesday in Denver and basically everywhere around it. Expect 2 to 5 inches of snow and slippery road conditions.

We’re only partly posting this to try to jinx the forecast so it doesn’t snow. Some of us have places to be in the morning. But, look, west of I-25, the NWS says the snow could be 4 to 8 inches, with more closer to the foothills. That would make for a rough commute, so you’d better read up on winter driving tips.

And hoo boy would we have egg on our face if, say, it just didn’t snow like that and instead it was a dusting and conditions were pretty chill.

The forecast calls for a low of 22 Monday night, and on Tuesday, a high of 26 and a low of 12. It’ll probably stay good and cold all week, especially if it absolutely dumps snow Tuesday morning, instead of making fools of us by making it super easy for Denver parents drive our kids to school.
