Street sweeping in Denver will begin Friday, meaning you’ll be responsible for moving your car on marked streets or risk getting a $50 ticket.

Street sweeping season runs from April through November. Street sweepers clean dirt and debris, which keeps it out of the air and water supply, according to the city. Sweeping also keeps storm sewer inlets from getting clogged.

Check out when street sweeping will happen on your block and sign up for text reminders.
