Denver can expect showers, thunderstorms for the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.

After facing several tornado watches and warning throughout the metro, the storm system that moved in Wednesday will produce rain and strong winds into Thursday. Those gusts could reach up to 25 mph.

Denver’s risk for severe weather like tornadoes and hail is low today, according to the NWS.

Strong winds will blow over into Friday as winds could get up to 17 mph. Thunderstorms are also likely after noon.

More rain and thunderstorms are possible Saturday and Sunday.

This article has been updated to reflect that the tornado watch in Denver has expired.
