Denver could see severe storms this afternoon, June 13, largely from 3 to 5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The weather could include large hail and damaging winds, gusting in places to 70 mph, NWS forecasts. The high is 83 degrees.

Tornadoes are most likely to occur south of Denver, from Castle Rock to Holyoke, according to NWS. That area could be hit by "supercell" storms and very large hail, too.

Tuesday brings a "slight" chance of storms, and clear skies are expected from Wednesday through the weekend.
