Nothing like a good summertime cruise, amirite? If you want to ride effortlessly along the city's smoothest smooth-ish streets, avoid the orange roads in the map after the jump. They're the ones Denver is repairing this week.

People who live or work in the Country Club, Green Valley Ranch and Harvey Park neighborhoods might want to pay particular attention to this week's schedule. Zoom in or out, or just type in your address and see if there's road work in your area.

If, unlike me, you find the text version easier to navigate, the city summary of activity this week is below.

Weather permitting, milling and paving operations for the week of June 13 will be as follows:

  • A Street Maintenance crew will continue milling and paving in the Country Club neighborhood from E. 1st to E. 6th Avenues between Downing Street and University Boulevard.
  • Another Street Maintenance crew will continue milling and paving W. Dartmouth Avenue from Sheridan Boulevard to Wolff Street, as well as W. Princeton Drive and W. Oberlin Drive west of Sheridan Boulevard. Crews will then begin milling in the Hampden South neighborhood from Mansfield to Quincy Avenues and Spruce Street to Tamarac Drive.
  • Crack seal and chipseal operations will continue in Green Valley Ranch along Green Valley Ranch Blvd. between Himalaya and Piccadilly Roads, and in the Gateway area between E. 48th and E. 56th Avenues east of Chambers Road.
  • Hot-In-Place paving operations will continue in Harvey Park from W. Evans to W. Yale Avenues and Federal to S. Lowell Boulevards.
