Broncos LB Brandon Marshall celebrated his new deal by posting a “Jerry Maguire” clip
Marshall agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Broncos Tuesday.
You already know which one.
Brandon Marshall appears to be a happy man. The Denver Broncos’ 26-year-old linebacker agreed to a lucrative contract extension Tuesday.
The four-year deal includes a $10 million signing bonus and roughly $15 million in fully guaranteed money, 9 News’ Mike Klis reported. Marshall celebrated the extension by posting an InstaGram video of the classic “Show me the money!” exchange between Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. in the 1996 flick “Jerry Maguire.”
The deal had to feel sweet for Marshall, who stuck with football after the Jacksonville Jaguars cut him three times and grew into a key player on the best defense in football last season.
Marshall has posted back-to-back, 100-tackle seasons since latching on with Denver in 2014.
