Anti-fracking activists greet Gov. John Hickenlooper at Politico energy forum

Philadelphia is helping John Hickenlooper feel right at home.

The Colorado governor is a former petroleum geologist who has been blasted by environmental activists for his cozy relationship with the oil and gas industry for about as long as he’s been in office.

Hickenlooper, who is speaking Thursday at the Democratic National Convention, was met with these signs as he arrived at an event hosted by Politico on energy policy.

Fractivists then interrupted the event.
