While the Paralympic Games are having one of their highest-profile years to date in Rio, #Denver played host to its own adaptive athletic event yesterday at the Denver Gravity Games, hosted by Colorado Gravity Racing.

Skaters of all sorts showed up to Barnum Park to fling themselves downhill in a time trial race that raised $300 to help disabled skier Nerissa Cannon buy an adaptive rig to help her hit the slopes this season.
