Delaney’s and the Celtic Tavern are closing for good this weekend

The adjoining Irish bars at 18th and Blake streets will come to an end on Saturday and Sunday, according to a sign on the Celtic Tavern door.

The adjoining Irish bars at 18th and Blake streets will come to an end on Saturday and Sunday, according to a sign on the Celtic Tavern door.

The Denver Post's Justin de la Rosa noticed the sign today. It says the Celtic Tavern's last day will be Saturday, and the last day for Delaney's Cigar Bar and Lounge will be Sunday.

Both bars have been open for 16 years.

They'll be celebrating with drink specials and live music in Friday and Saturday.
