The Dallas Police Department has come to the conclusion that Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib shot himself in the leg in the wee hours of the morning on June 5, according to WFAA.

Talib was rushed to a hospital that morning in his Rolls Royce; the wound to Talib's right leg, Dallas police say, was his own doing. Talib reportedly told Dallas police after the shooting, "Everything was a blur, and I was too intoxicated to remember what happened."

Dallas police won't file charges against Talib for the incident. However, it's possible Talib could receive a punishment from the NFL, which has the power to suspend players who aren't facing charges if it believes a player violated the league's personal conduct policy.

Talib is in the midst of a strong season. He's already got three interceptions, two of which came Sunday against Tampa Bay.
